Kiwi&Yam is an urban street-wear brand that aims to embody multicultural Britain and youth rebellion. It is heavily inspired by the 90’s and early 2000 UK Grime scene, and also draws inspiration from Western Africa, with the use of uniquely printed fabric such Ankara and Kente.
The brand was founded in 2015 out of the needed for cultural representation amongst the youth in the UK and diaspora.
The Kiwi represents of vibrancy of the brand and the Yam represents the raw ethnic edge.
